About

Dear readers,

The point of this blog is to document my experience living abroad in South Korea for a year with a Fulbright teaching asistantship. I’m sure I will have many adventures, and I want to remember them all and share them with others. If you’d like to take my journey with me, or just see what I’m up to, or if you’re my parents confirming I haven’t died, please take a look. If you would like to contact me because you are friend or family missing me, this is a great way to do it by commenting on a post. Or, if you are a random person I’ve never met who’s beguiled with my brilliance, I would also love hearing from you.

I also need to say that any of the opinions expressed in this blog do not express any of the opinions of the United States State Department or the Fulbright Program.

I like what you write about the challenging adventure you have undertaken. Keep it up, you’ll do fine if you face each day as something to learn from.

I’m a freshman here at AC and I think what you’re chronicling is fantastic. Keep writing! I enjoy your posts and hope that one day I can follow in your footsteps 🙂

    • As I’m sure you are already aware, there are many opportunities to study abroad at Austin College. Take advantage of it, wether it’s for a semester, a jan term, or something like this or a combination. If you are interested in the Fulbright I would recommend traveling abroad at least once before doing it, no matter where it is just so you can get the feeling of being so far away from home and being in a very different place under your belt. If you have any questions just let me know! Have a great time at AC!
